Through Lamb’s Tale subsidiary, the Haven River Inn, visitors are treated to an idyllic venue capable of accommodating brief couple getaways or group retreats. One of the renowned Hill Country Bed & Breakfasts, this Victorian-style mansion (capacity 34) provides quiet places to hear and be heard. Our vision is to see people, removed from entangling distractions, reacquaint themselves with God and the community they have been given. In stillness He gives His sons and daughters glimpses of His plan to interweave their life-stories with the ongoing story of His Son - the Lamb’s Tale.

Not long ago a group of worship leaders from across the nation visited the Haven for a two day retreat. Among them was Ken Medema, the singer and songwriter. Just before midnight on the second night of the retreat, he heard about the Leadership Care mission of the Haven, and said, "It's time to go to the piano." He then recorded this song:
